US-Based Data Show AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 Vaccine Is Effective

Results recently culled from a large clinical trial conducted in the United States show that the COVID-19 vaccine created in partnership by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford is 79% effective at preventing COVID-19 illness, and no significant side effects were found among trial participants.
