Researchers examined the connection between COVID-19 prevention measures and the practice of dentistry in El Salvador and Mexico between 2020 and 2021. The study included 1,719 dentists who answered a 20-question survey about their practices during this period. The results, which were published in Cureus , showed that dental practices that used phone triage, temperature screening, physical distancing, and face shields were more likely to continue providing dental services during the pandemic.
