Tennessee Legislators Seek to Increase Access to Care With Newly Introduced Bills

Tennessee lawmakers have taken steps to improve access to dental care in the state with two bills: Senate Bill 2075 and SB 677. Prevalence of Periodontitis in Dentate People Between 2011 and 2020

A recent systematic review and meta-analysis of epidemiological studies published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology confirm that periodontitis continues to be an alarming world public health problem , with nearly 62% prevalence in dentate adults as seen from studies performed between 2011 and 2020.
