Greg Abbott signed a bill June 18 formally ending a ban on teledentistry in Texas. The bill, HB 2056, is effective Sept. Some sections of the insurance code take effect Jan. The law prevents the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners from prohibiting teledentistry.
