Dimension Inx, a biomaterials platform company, announced that CMFlex, the first 3D-printed regenerative bone graft product with FDA approval, has been successfully used in its inaugural clinical cases. CMFlex is a 3D-printed synthetic bone graft utilized for various bony defects in oral and maxillofacial surgical applications.

Desktop Health announced the first patients have been treated with CMFlex, an off-the-shelf 3D printed synthetic bone graft product developed and manufactured by Chicago-based Dimension Inx on the 3D-Bioplotter. The duo have been developing the material and product since 2009 on the Desktop Health 3D-Bioplotter.
