NYU College of Dentistry Receives Federal Funds to Reach the Underserved

The United States Health Resources and Services Administration has awarded New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry with a $1.5 million grant to prepare dental and dental hygienists to better serve disadvantaged populations, including those with disabilities and pregnant women. The funds will support the university’s “Preparing the Future” program, which educates the next generation of oral health professionals on how to effectively care for vulnerable populations.
