Alaska is the first state to allow all of those living and working in Alaska age 16 and older to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Alaska has the highest rate of COVID-19 vaccination—16%—in the nation. Some parts of the state have 90% vaccination rates for those age 65 and older.
