Georgia State to Open Cutting-Edge Dental Hygiene Clinic

Georgia State University in Dunwoody recently broke ground on a $6.3 million dental hygiene clinic, which will enable dental hygiene students to train using the latest equipment while also providing nearby residents with access to dental care. Scheduled to be completed by fall 2023, the new clinic will include 20 operatories over 7,904 square feet. Dental hygiene students will offer prophylaxes, oral exams, oral cancer screening, and Xrays. The university offers an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene program at its Perimeter College.
