As you can see by scrolling down and seeing my last post, last week I became aware of a new ransomware that is targeting the Healthcare sector in the U.S. The ransomware is named "Royal" and it has been making quite a few headlines in the last few days.
Recently I was notified in an email from the Academy of General Dentistry about Royal. That email mentioned a couple of links and I wanted to pass those along to those of you who want to become better educated about Royal.
The first link is to a page on the website of the ADA (American Dental Association). The page gives some details about Royal as well as "Best Practices" for avoiding ransomware.
The second is a ink to Becker's Dental Review, which has a link to further info while also listing some good stuff to know about Royal.
