Pfizer has applied for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to administer its COVID-19 vaccination to children ages 5 to 11. The FDA has already granted full approval to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine when administered to adults.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a Covid-19 vaccine safe to administer to children under 12 may be available midwinter of 2021-2022. So this is great news for parents with kids in that age group. The EUA won't last forever either.
